It’s not a secret that modern vehicles rely on an incredible amount of technology. No longer is new tech a novelty; most modern vehicles have computers and other technology that are essential to delivering a positive driving experience. At the top of the list is a vehicle’s infotainment system. The problem is, not all infotainment systems are created equal. Toyota’s Entune 3.0 is now available in 2018 Toyota models, and this is one infotainment system that truly makes your driving experience easier and much more enjoyable.

Big Promises Never Delivered

Most automakers have their own version of an infotainment system and they differ dramatically when it comes to capabilities and overall functionality. When you’re driving, you have to keep your eyes on the road, so a good infotainment system needs to be easy to use and recognize your voice. Ford’s infotainment system (Sync) is one example of an infotainment system that simply hasn’t lived up to expectations for years. They’ve released a few versions of Sync over the years, and the common concern from Ford owners was how complicated Sync was to use and the sub-par voice recognition feature. Of course, Ford is just one of many companies that have yet to release a useful and functional infotainment system. Luckily, new Toyotas come with the impressive Entune 3.0.

Easy to Use

Toyota’s recently released Entune 3.0 infotainment system is creating a lot of buzz because it delivers what it promises. The easy to read navigation screen gives the driver a crisp, vivid screen displaying a map that provides real-time traffic updates. The voice recognition feature of Entune 3.0 is incredibly impressive and recognizes your voice and request quickly and accurately.

Driver Profiles

Entune 3.0 allows Toyota owners to set parameters and guidelines for specific driver profiles. As an example, for teen drivers, parents can set a geographic area that driver is limited to. If they drive out of that set area, the parent can get a notification and act accordingly.

Apps

And, of course, Entune 3.0 supports an ever-growing catalogue of apps that make your driving experience that much better. Download popular apps, including Slacker, iHeartRadio, Yelp, and many others.
