The Rav4 is one of our best-selling vehicles year after year. Because of its fuel consumption, style, space, and features, it’s no surprise. This coming model year, the fan favourite is getting an attractive makeover that’s making it even more desirable. We truly don’t always say it, but this time, it’s the best Rav4, ever.
While we know to expect a variety of trims for different shoppers, this year we were blown away by Toyota’s announcement. The always-popular Limited edition boasts 19” alloy wheels that sit high and look good doing it, and drivers are treated to an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The Adventure series is meant for those who truly love the great outdoors. You’ll be able to take it off-road with multi-terrain select, dynamic torque vectoring AWD with rear driveline disconnect. This means that you’ll be able to prepare for any terrain ahead, while knowing that your vehicle has the power coming from where it counts to make sure you can handle it. Better yet, it looks great. A tough front-end and unique grille will be the envy of your block.
The XSE HV is our most fun yet, and without sacrifice. It’s sporty, full of pep, and rocking faster acceleration than ever before. It has a unique black rooftop, separating the design in a sophisticated fashion. The suspension is sport-tuned for added comfort and stability, while the fuel consumption has also improved, yet again. It’s the quickest in our lineup, making the Hybrid model just another reason to go green.
That’s right. Often, automakers end up all making their own version of the same SUV, with different brands melting together and having the same appearance. This isn’t the case with the 2019 Rav4. Each trim level has its own unique style elements both inside and out. Some available options include:
They have unique grilles and body styles. This year’s models are more bold and dominant in their stance and appearance. Styling features a boxed design, big wheels, smug front lips, and available roof racks. You’ll look good piloting behind lights that have attitude.
In terms of tech, you’re always in good hands with Toyota. Here’s the tech that we expect to see on the 2019 Rav4, just to get you started:
Every powertrain option available has more power and better fuel economy than previous models to make your gas foot happy and your wallet even happier. On top of everything else, the 2019 Hybrid model will be made in Canada at TMMC in Ontario. How’s that for homey?
